The plan has been revealed for the one way road system on Victory Road and Castle Road that will be in place during the Olympics this summer. Vehicles coming down Verne Common Road, from the prison, will be forced to turn left and go around the existing one way streets to leave Portland. Only the very bottom part of Castle Road will be two way, from the bridge upwards will become one way so access to Castletown will have to be via Lerret Road in front of the Police Station.
